Although we have been dealing with COVID-19 for a few weeks now, I decided to start journaling about it today. I am using this as a means to journal the experience and remind myself that with all the negative, there is alway positive.
Today I woke up to these Tennessee statistics: 2,389 confirmed cases of COVID-19 23 deaths
Other than that, my day was good. I have been working from home for over a week and my fellow co-workers and I are finding creative ways to stay in touch. First thing this morning one of my co-workers sent me a video of her rooster crowing. It was great! It made me smile and think of our rooster we had in Missouri. The cats both looked at me when they heard it and I could almost hear them say, “Did Connor come to visit?”.
Later in the morning I kept hearing all these loud noises out in the front of our house. I went to the front of the house and asked Jim what was going on. They have been preparing our streets for the final layer of pavement. Lots of curbs are being repaired before this final layer is poured. Lots of people are having their driveway curbs cut out and hauled away and new curbing put in. The truck that hauls all the cracked concrete away apparently broke a drive train something or another and was stuck. So……. they called in reinforcement to push him up the hill. It was hilarious!

The rest of my day went well and after dinner we took a walk. Very peaceful.
Love to all!
