It's All In The Wrist...

Today I was sitting at my desk, working away. I took a moment to pause to think about something. I happened to look down at my wrist in that moment. What I saw was amazing.
My wrist really told a story. I looked at everything from my wrist down my hands to my fingers.
There was so much love there.
Starting at my fingernails. Fingernails that survived through chemotherapy. They fought hard. Although they got pretty weak, they made it.
Moving to my fingers. My wedding ring. Jim and I have been married over 8 years now and have gone through so much good. Some bad stuff too. But our love has endured. I am so proud to be married to him. We have a great love story and we are just beginning.
Then I move to my Love This Life bracelet that my brother and sister-in-law gave me for my birthday. It has a family tree, an infinity symbol, a crystal and a Love This Life emblem. How wonderfully appropriate coming from them. I feel their unconditional love every single day. To infinity.
Then there are the two bracelets given to me by a friend. They are protection. Stones that provide shielding protection for an empath. She researched what type of stones I needed and she purchased them. I love this friend so much and I miss her.
Then there is the Fitbit. Because I love myself and my Fitbit is a reminder to move my body. Movement is so important and I never want to stop moving.
Finally, I look at my hands. They are showing their age. Age filled with stories of love and strength and hard work. Hands that love to be working in the dirt. Hands that love to touch someone and tell them how wonderful they are. Hands that held a little baby and raised him to become a wonderful young man. Wow.
I smiled. I appreciated. I went back to work knowing I have had some really good stories in my life and there are so many more to come.
Remember to appreciate everything! Love to all!
