Manifestation's Middle Child: Where all the funny stuff (and frustration) happens.

Story time!

A while back, I decided I'd manifest the absolute perfect parking space. You know—the kind that’s five steps from the door, so close you can practically wave at the greeter.

I visualized it. I affirmed it. I even whispered sweet thank-yous to the universe in the car. As I pulled into the parking lot, I waited to see the car in the very front spot pull out so I could pull in. Nothing. hmmm... I started getting annoyed. And then I waited for the car in the second spot to pull out so I could pull in. Nothing again. More grumpiness. Then I thought maybe I was being inpatient and I needed to circle the lot one time and then... someone in the front would definitely pull out so I could pull in. Nothing. Shit! Now I was really annoyed and wondering why the Universe was out to get me.

I ended up parked by the dumpster in the far corner. of the lot. I got out, locked my car, and thought, “Yeah, universe, we need to talk.” I considered calling an Uber.

That’s when it hit me—the problem wasn’t wanting the space. The problem was what came after the visualization: I needed a plan. I needed strategy. I needed someone to say, “Walk in with the glow, not the grump,” and gently guide me into action—like remembering to walk with confidence instead of head-down, thinking the Universe was out to get me.

That’s what the middle stage of manifestation feels like: exciting beginnings meet real life interruptions. Netflix becomes a priority. That email pings. The inner voice that said you can do this quietly packs its bags and leaves for the weekend.

But here’s the secret sauce: if you catch yourself in that mid-space, a coach can hand you that spark again. They don’t wave a magic wand. They help you strategize, course-correct, and stay accountable.

So yes—not everything magical starts with mood boards and moon circles. Sometimes it starts with spilling your life story to someone who cares, laughing at how you just tried to manifest the “perfect parking spot,” and then forming a real plan for your much bigger dream.

Reflection: What halfway moment have you had—where you were so close to finally doing that thing, but something pulled you off track? I would love to talk about how to meet that moment with a little more grace.

Much love to all!
