The Big Life Grocery List

One day a couple of years ago, I sat down with my grocery list and realized I had "bananas, cat food, almond milk and oh, "Completely Change My Life" written in the margin.


When people think about manifestation - a lot of people think it needs candles, crystals, and a full moon. And sure, I've been known to light a candle or two. Or burn some sage. But most of the time, manifestation starts with a simple thought: " I want something different" or " I want to completely change my life".


I'll tell you a secret - half the things I've brought into my life started as daydream in the middle of doing laundry or in the morning while I was taking a shower. The trick is learning how to catch those dreams before they slip away.


I'll give you a personal example. I always wanted to do yoga. Both the physical and the mental aspects of yoga pulled at my soul. But when I thought about actually doing it, I would push the thought away and say "someday". I told myself I was too busy or that I probably couldn't get my body to bend that way anyway. But that whisper kept coming back. I REALLY wanted to do it. So one day, instead of arguing with myself, I listened to the whisper and I hustled my butt to the yoga studio. Guess what? I DO have time for yoga and my body DOES bend that way!


So today, I'm talking about how dreams turn into plans and plans turn into actual changes. Today is about the dream. Later in the week, I'll talk about the frustrating gap between wanting and having. Then I'll talk about the trick to accomplishing it. So..... I'd love to know - What on your "big life grocery list" right now. I bet you've got a couple of things!
