2015 – My Year of Zen

Zen seems to cover so many things to me. It’s about peace. Health. Respect. I have read so many books and articles over the past six months on so many topics. Zen, Meditation, Nutrition, Health, Exercise, Yoga. I have learned so much from these writings and the authors. They are sharing their knowledge, their time and their hours spent researching. To each of them I owe my gratitude. I’m sure each person that has read these books comes away with something different. That’s what makes us unique. But what I have learned has helped me find a little more of “me”. What have I really learned though? I asked myself that recently and I really enjoyed the answer. I learned that inner peace is most important. I learned that a good night sleep will fix a lot of things! I’ve learned that my body REALLY does better without processed food. I’ve learned that the less sugar I eat, the less my body wants it. I’ve learned that I LOVE YOGA! I’ve learned that I really like who I am. I’ve learned that my free spirit can come out whenever it wants ( I can let my freak flag fly!). Most importantly I have reconfirmed that LIFE IS GOOD! Below are some of my new-found readings.
